SAFEWAY VISE
A compact vice with overall length (excluding removeable crank handle) of only 667mm and precision ground allowing mounting on its side.
Tolerances on vice height, size from keyway to jaw plate, size from bottom to vice slide way, and slide lock squareness, are all controlled within 0.01mm.
The jaw plates can be fastened to the exterior ends of the fixed and moving jaws thereby increasing the maximum clamping capacity from the standard 0-240mm to 240-470mm.
