PORTABLE DIGITAL HARDNESS TESTER
An advanced AAA batteries operated hardness tester featuring a compact size, high accuracy, LCD display with back light, wide range, simple operation & automatic power off. Supplied as standard with universal impact device D for most applications.
Based on the Leeb (HLD) measuring principles, this provides an almostnon-destructive test of metals. Automatically converts from HLD to Vickers (HV), Brinell (HB), Rockwell (HRC & HRB), Shore (HS) and tensile strength (MPa) values and can measure at any angle.
Displays HLD & selected converted value, impact direction, material, number of tests & average value, & date. Supplied complete in case with Bluetooth wireless mini printer, test block & small support ring. Suitable for workpieces 5mm or more thick & of 5kg mass (or 2kg on solid support or 0.1kg coupled on plate), with surfaces of minimum radius of 11mm & maximum roughness of RA=1.6µm.
